From the Creative Industry Career Expo in July to our annual Heritage Festival and the return of Body Moves in November, there’s a lot to look forward to. Mark your calendars for another inspiring journey of purpose-driven performance.

The Creative Industry Career Exhibition on 31 July & 1 August 2025, will bring together Grade 12 learners and exhibitors from higher learning institutions, corporate businesses and artistic organisations to engage on avenues and opportunities to establish successful careers in the creative industry.

The Impande Zobuntu Stories Without Borders Heritage Festival, with support from the National Lotteries Commission, kicks off with a North West storytelling competition on 31 May, followed by a national high school writing online competition, and culminating in a Festival at Sibikwa on 27 September, promoting indigenous language and diversity through the art of storytelling.

The Sibikwa Arts Academy Mid-Year Concert (15 June) and Holiday Programme (7–18 July), following themes of climate action, sustainability and participation, will energise the Sibikwa Arts Centre and other community care sites, respectively, celebrating and sharing the joy of the arts with families and vulnerable members of our society.

The Body Moves International Inclusive Dance Festival is planning a global hybrid programme of inclusive dance and placemaking films, discussions and workshops in various countries in November this year.

Keep an eye out for commemorative activations are integrated into existing programmes during Human Rights, Youth, and Women’s Months.
