Uvuko supports emerging creatives in Ekurhuleni to turn their ideas, skills and artistic practices into business opportunities within the creative and cultural industries. Initiated by Sibikwa in 2022, the programme combines accredited training, industry engagement and mentorship to develop the creatives’ enterprises, explore income-generating opportunities and better engage with markets. The Uvuko programme is an initiative that aims to strengthen livelihoods, support enterprise growth and contribute to a more resilient and inclusive creative economy.
